Joyce E. Cornelius, 83, of Peoria, AZ passed away Jan. 31, 2011. Born in Moline, IL she received her B.S. in nursing from the University of Iowa. She retired to Sun City in 1998 and was an active member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Lawrence L. Cornelius; daughter Linda Cornelius-Cambra; son Mike Cornelius (Mary); sister Shirley Wittekiend grandchildren Michelle Toft and Amy & Christian Cornelius and great grandsons Simon & Casey Toft. Visitation will be 5:00-6:30 p.m. with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Interment to be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Moline, Illinois.
