Karen Emily (Steenbock) Sterba, 80, passed away Monday, April 25th in Peoria, Arizona. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Karen was born March 10, 1942, in Tampa, Florida to Helen and Herbert Steenbock (both deceased). She is survived by her husband, Jerry Sterba; daughter, Jennifer Sterba; son, Chistopher Sterba; brother, William Steenbock; grandchildren Christopher, Christian and Clarabelle Sterba; and one cantankerous chihuahua, Paco (lovingly referred to as ‘tank’). Karen loved all animals as was evidenced by the number of rescues she took in. There will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite local animal shelter.
