Leo Bernard Thomas, 80, of Golden Valley, AZ passed away Dec. 24, 2008 in Phoenix. Born in Los Angeles, CA he was a WW II US Navy veteran. An Arizona resident since 1976, he was a custom cabinet maker. Survivors include his wife Rita; sons Mark, Joseph, Steven, Philip, Michael daughters Anne, Peggy, Patricia brother Joseph and sister Mary; 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 330 W. Coral Gables Dr., Phoenix, AZ. Inurnment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
