LUCILLE M. SANDVOLD, 91 passed away 2/8/16 in Surprise, AZ with her daughter at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, Roy J. Sandvold, grandson W. Jay McSpadden and great-granddaughter Danielle Campbell. After Roy’s death in 2014, Lucille moved from Albuquerque, NM, where she resided for 53 years, to Surprise, AZ to be with her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and John Groves. She is also survived by her son, Jay C. Sandvold of TX, three granddaughters, Terri McSpadden, Karen and spouse Tim Massie and Carol and spouse Mike Heibrider and two step-grandsons Joshua and Jacob Groves. Her great grandchildren are Brian, Travis and Tyler McSpadden, Randy Campbell, Alicia and Alex Sandvold. She also has six great-great grandchildren. Lucille was very active in her church teaching Sunday school, leading Women's Bible Study, playing the organ and singing in the choir. She spent most of her senior years knitting and crocheting for friends and family There will be private services at the Santa Fe Veteran's Memorial and a small reception following.
