M Groves

M Suzanne Groves Went to Heaven February 15th, 2021. My lovely wife and best friend born April 26th, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska. Born to Roy and Lucille Sandvold of Woodbine, Iowa who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband John A Groves, brother Jay C Sandvold, daughter Terri J McSpadden, son William Jay McSpadden (deceased), stepsons Joshua and Jacob Groves, grandchildren Brian, Travis and Tyler McSpadden, Brittany Angell, Megan Campbell, Addison, and Kennedy Groves. Family was her greatest passion never missing a chance to be with them or celebrate a birthday. She loved us all. She loved to dance the night away with John at country honky-tonks, bars, or nightclubs, fun trips to a casino’s as well being in the back yard swimming pool, the sun and having friends and family over. The love of crafting and quilting became her passion in later years, making just beautiful quilts and tapestries. She attended Madison Simis Elementary School and Camelback High School both in Phoenix, AZ. Her career spans over twenty years as a life, health and medical underwriter working for various companies making numerous friends throughout her career. Suzanne will be missed by many and remembered forever. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday March 13, 2021 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
