Marcia C Lee

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Marcia Cassel Lee, who passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in Sun City West, Arizona.

Marcia was born on September 5 in Oakland, California, to Presha and Bruce Rains. She spent her early childhood in California before moving to Arizona, where she would call home for the rest of her life. In 1971, she married her high school sweetheart, Larry Cassel. Marcia dedicated many years to raising her family as a homemaker, later working in human resources. She and Larry were married for 40 years until his passing in 2012.

In 2015, Marcia was introduced to Craig Lee. Their mutual love of life, laughter, and companionship grew into a deep and lasting bond. They married and shared a joyful decade together, filled with travel, dancing, and cherished moments.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Craig Lee; her children, Kalyn (Ryan) and Sam (Devin); three grandchildren; one great-grandson; her brother, Bruce; and her sister, Presha. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Cassel; her parents, Presha and Bruce; and her brother, Brian.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Menke Funeral Center, located at 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351. All who loved Marcia are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites you to consider a donation in Marcia’s memory to Hospice of the Valley or the Mayo Clinic.

Marcia will be remembered for her sharp wit, resilience, impeccable style, and generous warmth. Her love, laughter, and light will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
