Margarete J. Hester, 85, of Sun City, AZ, passed away March 6, 2010, in Sun City, AZ. She was born in Berlin, Germany and came to the United States of America in 1951. She attended The University of Leipzig and Nuernberg in Germany and the University of Louisville, Kentucky. She held a degree in business administration. Ms. Hester worked until her retirement as a financial administrator and general manager in the automotive specialty manufacturing business. Ms. Hester was life professed in the Third Order of St. Dominic. She is survived by her beloved poodle “Princie”. Visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00 PM with Rosary at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center. 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
