Mary Jane Harding (Gibbs) passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 25, 2018. Mary Jane was born on December 25, 1934 in Morenci, Michigan to her parents Bert Donald Bachman and Ardith Lutrell (Bailey) Bachman. The family moved to Arizona in 1943, and Mary attended Isaac Elementary School, Phoenix Union High School and West High School. She married John W. Gibbs (Jack) in 1954, and they had three children, Jimmy, Jacque and John. Early on, Mary worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, but for most of her life was a homemaker and loving mother. In her later years, Mary married Jerry Brandeberry Harding and lived in Lochbuie, Colorado, until they moved to Pioneer, Arizona to be near her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Mary Jane will be laid to rest with her husband Jerry, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, on February 07, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
