Mary Wear

Mary Elizabeth Wear, otherwise known as "Betty," of Peoria, passed away July 17'h, 2009 after 84 beautiful years with us. She was born November 21st, 1924 in Boone, Iowa to Arthur and Mary Bliss. She is survived by her sisters Margaret and Leona, and brother Arthur. Her daughters Kathy and Patty, her grandchildren Ryan, Vaughn, Aubrey, Angela, and Summer. She also had 6 great grandchildren and one on the way! She loved to travel, she always loved to dance, she appreciated good music, she loved to shop with the girls, she was always up on the latest fashion, and she always looked fabulous everywhere she went. Betty was truly an original. We will all miss her laugh, her smile, her quirky comments, and most of all her Grandma B hugs and kisses. The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 22" at 10:30am at the LDS Church 22034 N 83rd Ave., Peoria, AZ 85382. With interment to follow at: National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix AZ 85024, at 12:30. Betty loved flowers, but donations in her honor can also be made to the Arizona Center for the Blind.
