Michael R. Fischer

March 15, 1947 — June 13, 2023

Michael Raymond Fischer was born in Seattle Washington on March 15th, 1947, to Raymond and Leona Fischer. He graduated from Castor High School in 1965. He spent his youth hunting and fishing with his cousins and brothers. He has 4 siblings Charles Fischer, Patricia Nixon (Don), Larry Fischer, and Barbara Fischer. He joined the Airforce in 1965 after graduation from high school. He was stationed at Luke Air Force base in Glendale Arizona and earned the rank of Seargent. He was introduced to his wife Sinda Anderson Fischer by her brother, and he met her and her Twin Linda Anderson Moseley with his best friend Daniel Moseley. He married Sinda in November of 1966 and they recently celebrated 56 years of marriage. He is the honored father of Bonnie Voges (Brian), Bobby Fischer (Rose), Billy Fischer, Berry Fischer (Judy). He was blessed with grandchildren James Michael Voges, Sylvia Fischer, Renae Fischer, Brianna Voges, Kiersten Fischer Werner, Ashlyn Voges Guerin, Anderson Fischer, Scarlett Fischer, Johnathon Fischer, Luke Voges, Gwendolyn Voges Ling, Grace Voges, Siera Fischer, Issac Voges and Sophia Voges. He was doubly blessed with great-grandchildren Laylee Werner, Sadie Werner, Kai Michael Guerin, Anna Guerin and John Fischer. He worked for many years as a cook, military policeman, security guard and in his later years as a janitor at the VA medical center. He attended Wesleyan College for education, and he was an avid guitar player, Dallas cowboys and Arizona Diamondback fan. There is so much more to tell about him that cannot be put into words. He will be greatly missed and loved. He was proceeded in death by His parents Leona and Raymond and his granddaughter Sylvia Marie Fischer. May he rest in the arms of the Lord and those that passed from this earth before him.
