Obituary

Milton Albert Maedke Born Feb. 24, 1917 to Edward & Clara Maedke in Stanley, WI, passed away May 11, 2011 in Peoria, AZ. He married Cynthia Krueger on Dec. 18, 1944 in Gatesville, Texas. Mr. Maedke proudly served his country in the US Army during WW II. He worked as Sample Design Engineer for Regal Ware Inc. 1945 – 1984. He served with the Civil Defense Patrol Auxilary Police and was an active member of Peace United Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife Cynthia C. Maedke; daughters Carolyn A. Schmidt (Vern) and Diane K. Desens (Don); son James A. Maedke (Rachael); 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his brother Raymond Maedke (Lucille), sister Sylvia Maedke, granddaughter Brenda Schmidt and great grandson Skyler Schmidt. Visitation will 10:15 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Good Shepherd Chapel, 10323 W. Olive Ave., Peoria, AZ 85345. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Society-Good Shepherd Peoria.
