Mindy Pung

Mindy Podolsky Pung died January 9, 2021 from complications due to COVID-19. She was 52 years old. A wonderful wife, loving daughter and loyal friend, Mindy was also a committed educator, focused for many years on supporting at-risk and special needs high school students. Mindy’s playful nature and fierce sense of adventure took her scuba diving in Roatan, learning how to operate a gondola in Venice, and soaring through the air on a 50th birthday skydive. She loved just as fiercely, and her generous and unbiased heart was a gift to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Daniel, parents Mitchell and Joyce Podolsky, brother Mark, 11 nieces and nephews, as well as the many friends and students whose lives she touched. Her laughter and joy will be missed. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
