Minnie Sumner

Minnie "Sharon" Sumner May 5th, 1940 - June 13th, 2022 Sharon Sumner of Youngtown passed away on June 13th 2022 in Sun City, AZ at the age of 82. Sharon was born in Oklahoma City, OK in 1940 and moved to Arizona as a child. She married Bruce Sumner in 1958 and they raised their 4 children in the Phoenix area. Sharon was a Interior Decorator in the Sun City and Sun City West area for over 30 years and retired in 2010. She enjoyed her family and crosswords in her retirement. Sharon is survived by her 4 children Robert Sumner, Dawn (Stephen) Simpson, Bruce Sumner Jr., and Ken (Kristi) Sumner; 5 Grandchildren Meghan Shea Hare, Nathan Sumner, Zachary Sumner, Christopher Sumner and Amanda Sumner; and her Great-grandchild Aron Lev Sumner all of whom she loved so very much. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Sumner Sr., her sister Karen Broussard and her parents Robert and Genevieve Venable.
