Nancy Boyd

Nancy Mae Boyd Selfless, Loving and Kind Nancy Mae Boyd of Mayer - Cordes Lakes, AZ joined the Lord on December 30, 2021. Nancy was born on December 29, 1944 in Aitkin, Minnesota. When Nancy was a young girl, her family moved from Minnesota to Spokane, WA, then to Pullman, WA where Nancy attended school; and graduated from Pullman High School in 1963. Nancy enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, watching movies, caring for her family and helping others, whether she knew them or not. Nancy was active in all of the communities where she lived, and she also loved the Lord, as was demonstrated in the way she unselfishly put others ahead of herself and her own needs on a regular basis. Ken, Nancy and Chaar relocated from Lewiston, ID to Phoenix, AZ in 1986. Ken and Nancy moved from Phoenix to Cordes Lakes in 1995 where Nancy spent the remainder of her life. Nancy’s career began as a paralegal working with a few different attorneys in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Arizona, and she finished out her career in the Arizona State Attorney General’s Office and the Arizona State Legislature. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Patricia and her father Walter. Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ken Boyd, sons Travis, his wife Adelia & granddaughter Natalin Jones of Pasco, WA; and Chaar, his fiancé Ada of Farmington, New Mexico; brothers George and Helen Long of South Burlington, Vermont; and Larry and Raelene Long of Fairfax, Virginia.
