Nevada Mass was born in Pioche, Nevada on September 5, 1929. She passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022 at home in Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Dianne (Mass) Preston and her husband Mickey Preston, 5 grandchildren: Bruce (Allison) Preston, Candace (Bart) Rall, Michael Preston, Kelley (Rob) Wimp and Jason Evans along with 8, soon to be 9, great-grandchildren and sister Helen Leonard. Preceding her in death are her parents August and Mary Mangan, husbands: 2nd Lt. Richard Lee Johnson and Lt. Col. Jack Edward Mass, daughter Sharon Kay (Mass) Evans and son Bruce Allan Mass. Internment will be at Arlington National Cemetery with her late husband Lt. Col. Jack Edward Mass.
