88, of Sun City, Arizona passed away May 9, 2013. Mrs. Volberding was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa. An 18 year resident of Sun City she was preceded in death by her husband James R. "Jim" Volberding in 2006. Survivors include her son Jim Volberding, Jr. and daughters Jane Pierce and Ann Young. Private family services will be held in Dakota City, Iowa. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
