Robert Anthony Avery, 78, of Sun City, Arizona passed away October 15, 2015. Mr. Avery was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Arizona in 1945. He served in the US Air Force in Korea, and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction business. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene in 2003. Surviving are his children Mel Avery (Linda), John Avery, Robert Avery and Aaron Avery; grandchildren R.J. Avery and Jared Avery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona.
