Robert Lee Fogarty, 82 of Peoria, AZ was born September 16, 1941 in Pittsburg, Kansas, the son of Charles and Christine Fogarty. He departed this life Saturday, March 7, 2024 surrounded by his family who loved him very much.

In 1962, Robert married Jean Minturn of Manhattan, Kansas. They were married for 61 beautiful years. Robert graduated from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas in 1963. He worked at the Bendix Corporation in Kansas City as a research chemist. After 3 years an opportunity opened at Goodyears Aerospace in Goodyear, AZ. The family made the move to Arizona where he worked at Goodyear for 25 years. After spending 4 years in Irvine, CA, he and Jean moved back to Arizona, settling in Chandler where he worked for Simula until retirement.

Robert is survived by his wife Jean of the home; three daughters, Kathy (David) of Phoenix, AZ; Becky (Janet) of Phoenix, AZ; and Karen (Scott) of Peoria, AZ; (daughter, Elizabeth Ann preceded him in death) five grandchildren, Alisyn, Kevin, Britne, Ryan, Madisyn; two great-grandsons, Jax and Jared and two great-granddaughters, Jacy and Claire.Our family has been blessed beyond words to have had Robert as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He will be missed by all. We love you!
