It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Edward Fuller Sr., known fondly as Bob, who departed this world on November 27, 2025, in Sun City, Arizona. Born on March 11, 1941, in Port Huron, Michigan, Bob graced our lives for over eight decades with his unwavering love, kindness, and devotion to family.
Bob’s journey through life led him to serve in the United States Navy, enlisting on September 21, 1960. His years aboard the USS Independence Aircraft Carrier were marked by service to his country, and he was honorably discharged on September 4, 1964. This experience not only instilled a sense of pride but also marked the beginning of a legacy defined by hard work and commitment.
For 20 years, Bob dedicated himself to his career, selling Mircle Maid for the West Bend Company, before embarking on an entrepreneurial adventure by starting his own painting business alongside his longtime friend and partner, Fred Jones. He was a shining example of a good-hearted, loving family man. Bob was known for his cheerful demeanor; as numerous loved ones fondly recalled, he was always happy and upbeat, embodying a spirit that brought joy to those around him. Listening to Mary, his beloved wife, he seemed next to perfect—a sentiment that rings true for many who knew him.
His love for his wife, Mary, was palpable and profound. Bob cherished her deeply, believing she could do no wrong—an inseparable pair whose bond was a testament to true partnership. Together, they nurtured a family that grew over the years, blessing them with children: Kim, Bobbi, and Rob. Bob was not just a father; he was a guiding light, instilling values of honesty, generosity, and a tireless work ethic in his children.
In addition to his children, Bob took immense pride in his expansive family. He adored his ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of another great-grandchild, whose journey into the world will surely carry forth the legacy of love that Bob cultivated.
Bob's hobbies and interests showcased his zest for life—whether playing golf, indulging in traveling adventures, diving into archery, or enjoying card games, he lived each day to the fullest. He was a DIY enthusiast, always ready to lend a hand and tackle any project that came his way, embracing life with enthusiasm and purpose.
He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him, especially his loving wife Mary and his adoring children. Sadly, he is preceded in death by his daughter Debbie, son-in-law Bob, his sister Sharron, and a grandson, Larry.
As we gather to remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Robert Edward Fuller Sr., let us hold close the memories of how he touched our lives, and find solace in the love he so generously shared. Though he may have left this earthly realm, his spirit and lessons will continue through the lives he molded and the love he imparted. Rest in peace, dear Bob—you will forever be cherished.
