Bob was born March 8, 1945 in Richmond, IN while his father was fighting in WW11. He was the son of Earl and Frieda Glass. Bob was a retired electrician for General Motors and a proud Navy veteran. After the Navy, Bob graduated from Ball State University (Muncie, IN). Bob loved conversation involving religion, politics, philosophy, and he always had the History channel on. He enjoyed riding horses, driving corvettes, and dancing as well.

Bob was placed in hospice at Sherman Home in Scottsdale, AZ on Sunday, August 2, 2026 and given last rights later that week by Fr. Kline. He passed peacefully with his wife Judy by his side. Bob returned to his Savior on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father Earl Glass, mother Frieda Glass, and sister Barbara Phillips. Survivors include: Judy his wife of Sun City, AZ, a sister, Mary Vanderhoof and her husband Jerry of Phoenix, AZ, a brother, David Glass and his wife Dana of Siloam Springs, AR, four nieces, three nephews, and multiple step children and step grandchildren. He also had several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was held at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Glendale, AZ. A Celebration of Life will be from 1-3 on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the Sun City Room, Menke Funeral Home in Sun City, AZ.
