Robert C. Hidy, 81, of Sun City, AZ passed away June 22, 2008. Mr. Hidy was born May 16, 1927 in Trenton, Nebraska. He was a farmer and retired to Arizona in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vonda; daughter Barbara Marie Johnson Wayne; sons William Kent Hidy Kate and Curtis Lee Hidy Deborah; brother Wayne Hidy Rachel; sister Lois Penner Clyde; grandchildren Christina Jo Hidy, Kyle William Hidy and their mother Barbara Hidy and step-grandchildren Brian Johnson & Karen Rumple Steve. Visitation is 5-7 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Avenue in Sun City, AZ. Funeral Home will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, Arizona.
