Rufus A. Ellis, 99, of Sun City, AZ passed away November 22, 2010. Born in Waxahachie, Texas, Mr. Ellis moved to Arizona in 1950. He was a private airplane pilot for 51 years and an avid Ham Radio Operator. Survivors include his wife Lillibel; children Joanne Holmes, Richard Ellis & Martha Martin and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by children Doris Binder and Alton Ellis. Visitation will be at 12:00 noon with funeral service 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2010 at First Christian Church of Sun City, 14001 N. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Donations are suggested to a charity of donor’s choice.
