Ryan Daniel Hairston, 43, of Peoria, AZ never liked being the center of attention. His preference would be to announce the facts: he was born in Texas, raised in California, and moved to Arizona at 18 years old, where he passed away far too young.

His is a life worth remembering, and because he can’t protest, it should also be known that he leaves behind the echo of the world’s most contagious laughter and the memory of tight hugs by which any bear would be impressed. He took pride in creating a comfortable and happy life for himself and his wife of 13 years, Sarah, along with their three dogs. His pleasures were simple and included dreaming up the next idea for his project truck, listening to music, cooking for his family and friends, cracking jokes, and a cozy blanket at the end of the day.

Ryan’s legacy is one of generosity, patience, humor, and a lifetime of moments shared with loved ones. He treasured the memories of growing up in the mountains of Tehatchapi, CA with his sister, Kenna English (children PJ and Lillian). The afternoons spent going to car shows with his father-in-law, Jonathan Yares. The birthday cakes and Christmas stockings made for him by his mother-in-law, Kim Yares. The countless movies watched with his brother-in-law and nephew, Dustin and Dylan Yares. The 16 years of love, laughter, road trips, dogs, lazy afternoons, silliness, inside jokes and finding joy in the mundane with Sarah.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Daniel and Tamela Hairston, sister Cherise McConnell, grandmother Tommie Hairston and those previously mentioned. He is tremendously missed by all.
