Stephen Richard Perry, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away July 20th at the age of 85. Steve grew up in Toledo, Ohio before joining the U.S. Air Force where he served in the Korean War. Steve married the love of his life, Shirley, and was happily married for 63 years. He was the proud father of six children, Christine, Linda, Denise, Greg, Lisa and the late Mary Lynn; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Steve worked at Mountain Bell for 33 years before retiring. Steve was an Arizona cowboy who loved his family, hunting, camping, traveling in the RV, old western movies, and “tinkering” in his work shop. Funeral services will take place July 25th at 9:30 a.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center in Sun City. Donations in memory of Steve may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Though taken from us too soon, Steve left us with a lifetime of beautiful memories we will carry with us forever.
