Stephen “Steve” Lynn Ellison, 78, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Phoenix, AZ. Born on October 4, 1947, in Cantwell, Missouri, Steve lived a life defined by steadfast service and an enduring openness of spirit that touched all who knew him.

After completing high school in Flat River, MO, Steve joined the U.S. Navy. He was a 20-year veteran and retired as a CWO-3. After retiring from the Navy and post military career as a technician, Steve was drawn to a deeper calling, Reiki. This path led him to Sedona where the striking landscape and spiritual community welcomed him as a resident for more than a decade.

Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Randy and by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maureen; daughters Kim, Michelle and Stephanie; 2 stepsons Ken and Brian; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date in Virginia.
