Tim Skertich, Sr. Age 66 of Surprise, AZ, formerly of Schererville, IN passed away suddenly on Sept 20,2010. He is survived by wife Sheree, sons: Tim,Jr(Karyn), Thomas(Bobbi) & Logan, Grandchildren: Sarah, Alyssa, Tyler, Jacob & Kayla, brother: Terry (Jan) and sister:Lynn(Bill) Kurth. He was preceded in death by his father John, mother Rose and brother John. Tim was an Army Reservist, and a retired ironworker (local 395) of Hammond, IN. He was also a member for many years of the Elks lodge 981 of Highland, IN. He had a passion for golf and his custom golf cart. He loved fishing, outdoor activities, IU basketball, the Chicago Bears and his best buddy "Chipper". His humor, charm & kindness will be missed both on and off the golf course. Visitation is 9-11 with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
