Willard Joseph DeMars, 95, of Sun City, Arizona passed away September 3, 2011. Born in Hassan Township, Minnesota, he was a WW II U.S. Navy veteran. A retired wholesale grocery manager, he moved to Sun City in 1976 and was a member of St. Clement of Rome Parish; life member of the American Legion Post #29 and the St. Clement Men's Club. Survivors include his daughters Joanne Hook and Patricia DeMars. A memorial mass for Mr. DeMars will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Arizona. Burial to take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
