William “Gil” Gilliam, 80, of Glendale, passed away on August 27, 2021. A SMSGT and U.S. Air Force veteran, Gil was a resident of Glendale for over 42 years. Gil was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Rose Marie, his mother Vera and father Tommy, and brothers Jess and Robert. He is survived by his daughter Tina Rohe (David K. Rohe) of Peoria, AZ and son Thomas Gilliam of Agawam, MA and grandchildren David Rohe, Dante Rohe and Tobias Gilliam and great-grandchild David Michael James Rohe, brother Keith Gilliam of Oregon and sister Lisa Mattatal of Mesa, and several nieces and nephews living around the country. A private family viewing will be held. Interment and service will be held on September 13, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
