Our family experienced losing both of our parents in a short time frame. Robert was nothing less than exceptional. Don't even know where to begin. During one of he most difficult times of my life, our family had to make plans to lay my father to rest. I was referred to Menke Funeral & Cremation Center by another family member. This was the best experience ever. From the initial phone call and throughout the process, Menke was like family to us. I could not have asked for a better place to work with than Menke. They took care of us above and beyond. They opened up their 'home' to us and took care of all the needed arrangements, including contacting Social Security and the VA to ensure my father was honored and taken care of in our time of emotional stress. We were overwhelmed by the gentleman that came to pick up my father. The kindness and respect he showed my father and our family was amazing. Menke has also provided us with aftercare and grieving support. I miss my Dad terribly and he will forever be in my thoughts and prayers and will forever be in my heart. Thank You Menke! Thank you Peder, our Funeral Director for guiding us through this extreme time of grief.

During this difficult time, Kelly was wonderful to work with. She was caring and compassionate about every aspect of all the decisions we had to make. Jess also on the aftercare phone call was very caring in the help she could give me. Both were very professional, caring, and respectful.

One of our great soldiers went home. There is one less heart beating for God on earth, but is before the Father in Heaven. It's true I didn't know you very well. But, you made one of my most favorite people in the world. Shon is a sister in Christ. It takes a great dad to raise a daughter like Shon. Her love for you was obvious. Her devotion to her family mirrored yours. Shon once told me a story of how you strengthened her faith with a phone call that you made from a prompting. Isn't it so wonderful to know that God knows our hearts and our thoughts and, if we allow Him, uses the Holy Spirit to strengthen and love on each of us.I say prayers for your sweet wife and family that will miss you. But, smile knowing that because of the strength of faith you built in them by living your own life of faith, they will miss you with a hope in their hearts, knowing Jesus already bought their ticket home too. I weep and hope with the entire family. I love you.

My family recently had my husband pass . We were at a low time in our lives but Peder was the most kind and steady rock for us. The arrangements and the funeral were planned with the utmost care and turned out beautiful. Peder went over and above to be sure our financial needs were met. God bless Peder.

Menke staff was so helpful during this difficult time. Every detail of our experience was at the highest quality. The facilities are very warm and accommodating. We had a beautiful celebration of life for my mother, and the setting and warmth of the people and facilities made our experience so personal. I definitely felt more a family feel with this funeral home than a business.

As you can imagine, going through a funeral when you have never been through one is a tough process. And it's made harder when most everyone lives out of the area. Menke funeral home did everything just perfect. I never thought I'd be writing a review of a funeral home, but these folks deserve one and a good one. So much attention to detail, so much kindness, no one ever rushed us - the whole place was ours and we were told to take all the time we need. They let us set up video equipment to play a memories DVD. They left us alone but were there to check on us if we needed anything. They also donated to a tree planting service that plants a tree seedling in honor of the person who passed away. In 2016, it's wonderful to be able to say there is still a company that prides itself on good old fashioned service and truly cares about helping you. Thank you Menke, you are providing a needed service and doing it with such class.

Professional, kind, thorough. I've never had a need for a funeral home until recently when my Mom passed away. Rob, Leo and the whole staff were Amazing. They went above and beyond and took care of everything with grace, professionalism and kindness. Truly good people here.
