Robert Thomas Nelson

Robert T. Nelson died suddenly on July 2, 2007 in Boswell Hospital. Bob was born in
McKittrick, MO Dec. 29, 1918. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Army, serving in N. Africa, Sicily, D-Day and across Europe. After the war, he served in Canada and Japan. Following retirement, he spent 25 years with Goodyear Tire Co where he received an award for never taking sick day. He and Elizabeth moved to Sun City from Dallas, TX in 2004. "The Celebration His Life" will be held at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103 Ave., Sun City at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 14, 2007. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital – www.stjude.org He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rohn-Nelson, four children and one grandson in Texas.
