Bertha Mae Marshall

Bertha Mae Beth Marshall, a native of Arizona, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007. She was born in Prescott on November 12, 1931. She is survived by her children Allan Marshall, Ken and Cheri Schwartz, Bryce and Tara Marshall, and Duane and Maya Marshall, nine grandchildren Lee, Sara, Connnor, Emily, Andrew, Sophia, Logan, Isabel, and Ella, and two great-grandchildren Alexander and Jayden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years and love of her life, James Marshall on May 8, of this year. She graduated from Prescott High School in 1949 and attended ASU and nurses training before meeting her husband and beginning a family in 1951. She volunteered and worked in school libraries and enjoyed the interaction of the children that came with this work. She loved playing the piano, working in her flower garden, and spending time with family. A service will be held on Monday September 24, 2007 at the Prescott National Cemetery 500 Highway 89 North. Menke Funeral Home, Sun City handled arrangements.
