Edgar Francis Finley

Ed Finley, 86, formerly of Landsdowne, Pennsylvania and a lifetime member of the Lansdowne Fire Company passed away on April 2, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marge, sister Jean, brother Bill, 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Ed proudly served 4 years in the U.S. air force, 48th Bombardment squadron, 41st Bombardment group as a flight engineer-gunner flying 50+ missions from a base in Okinawa during World War II. Ed retired from G.E./Honeywell in 1982 after 42 years. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 8 at 9 A.M. at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road. Donations may be made to the American Stroke Association by calling 1-888-478-7653.
