John Thomas Angell
7/14/45 – 9/1/10
“Not all who wander are lost”
Devoted husband, proud father, and adoring grandfather. John and his wife of 41 years Cherilyn raised 3 boys (Chris, Scott & Cody) thru hard work, strong values and unquestionable love. John’s dedication extended beyond his family to 35+ years in the automotive industry where he was respected by many and equaled by few due to his exemplary customer service skills and knowledge. After retiring John was able to focus more time on three of his passions; family, golf and camping. If not up in the cool pines of Long Valley, or on the back nine of the north course, he was with his kids and could not ask more from life. John’s impact on our lives is immeasurable as is his loss.
We love you and miss you so much!

Cherilyn and family – may your pain fade quickly into those memories you have of joyous love John gave to all of you. The memories will comfort you for eternity.
I met John when my daughter Laura became engaged to his son Scott. John welcomed her into his family with open arms!
I was saddened when Laura called me to let me know of John’s passing. He was a wonderful person and we all miss his smile and easy, companionable manner.
Cherilyn and family: My sincere condolences. I met John only once or twice and noted that he had a wonderful sense of humor. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. Take care of each other.
Cherilyn and family – so sorry to learn of John’s passing. The loss of a loved one is never easy.
Dear Cherilyn and family,
John was a part of many family celebrations and especially our camping trips for so many years. Looking through our camping pictures, we see his smiling face often. We have many happy memories of our camping times together, such as the early morning walks that he and Mike enjoyed. It’s hard to imagine those times without him.
John was a wonderful man, and he enriched our lives. We have always felt that Laura had been so lucky to have such a loving father-in- law. We will miss him so much.
Our thoughts are with you all. May you be comforted by the wonderful memories you have of his love.

Cherilyn, Chris, Scott, Cody and family, My heart aches for your loss. My prayers are with you. I still remember when I introduced my customers to John, after they bought a car. I’d tell them “You now have your own little ANGELL to watch over your car”! John would just grin as I would give him all the kudos he deserved. We were a great team! John was truly an honorable man and I am proud to say he was my friend! May God be with you all.
